Inner East Community Health provides many opportunities for volunteers to share their skills and talents, to enhance and improve experiences for our clientele attending our programs/services.

All volunteers will undergo a formal application and induction process to the organisation. All volunteers will be provided with a Position Description to outline the procedures and requirements of the role.

Inner East Community Health values highly  the support of volunteers and will support volunteers to achieve their personal objectives (e.g. in training or skill development.) Volunteers will be supported by a Volunteer Co-ordinator and achievements will be recognised by the organisation formally.  For more information please contact  info@iechs.org.au

Executive Fellowship Scheme

The Executive Fellowship scheme is a pro bono Volunteer Scheme where current or retired executives can assist “iehealth” to fulfil its Strategic Plan.  There are a range of current and future projects and developments which require senior advice and assistance and on which Executive Fellows can play either a supporting or leading role.

Executive Fellows are formally appointed as Volunteers and are covered by “iehealth”  insurance and conditions.

The time commitments can vary from brief consultations on specific issues through to ongoing support and management of projects.  In any year it would be expected that the Executive Fellow would commit at least 20 hours service.

Contact Details: Enquiries for the Executive Fellowship Scheme can be made in the first instance to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Harry Majewski harry.majewski@iechs.org.au telephone 9420 9114.
